Greetings and Welcome, we are your hosts Judy and David Henry.
Whispering Woods Cabins Inc. opened in May of 2006. We are located about 10 miles north west of Holland, Manitoba in a beautiful stretch of the Assiniboine Valley. The Henry Family has been farming here now for four generations,and the fifth one is now running around and exploring the great surroundings.
Of the 2400 acres we have here, about 800 acres are still in their beautiful natural state and connect the farm to Spruce Woods Provincial Park on the south side of the Assiniboine River,and near such natural features as the Hog's Back. Flora and fauna abound here, some very unique to the area.
We want to give you the opportunity to share in the natural beauty of the area and its recreational opportunities and explore its diversity. The farm operation produces irrigated potatoes along with wheat, canola, and other crops in rotation. Here you can experience both the sernity of nature or observe a modern farming operation through the seasons.
